Director of People Operations

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as Director of People Operations, responsible for safeguarding our core pillars of sustainability, wellness, and out-of-the-ordinary experiences.

Main Responsibilities
  • Human Resources Management: Oversee the efficient operation of the Human Resources department, ensuring exceptional service delivery within brand standards.
  • Recruitment and Succession Planning: Lead recruitment efforts, develop succession plans, conduct host satisfaction surveys, formulate corrective action, arrange periodic meetings, and analyze turnover statistics.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Conduct salary and benefits surveys, make recommendations to remain competitive, and align with local prevailing statutes.
  • Host Accommodations and Facilities: Be responsible for host accommodations, facilities, restaurant, committee, career fairs, and other host activities.
  • Social and Environmental Activities: Champion social and environmental initiatives in coordination with the Sustainability Manager, coordinate with organizations, and focus on talent management.
  • Training and Development: Assess training and human resources practices to remain relevant and effective.
  • Financial Performance: Establish and deliver financial returns related to revenue generation, profitability, and return on investment.
Qualifications
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management, plus 4 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • More than five years' experience in a similar human resources role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Human Resources/payroll systems.
  • Must have led multi-cultural teams within a luxury resort.
  • Must have excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Able to live in a remote location for extended periods and travel solo.
