Contract Administration Manager

">Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the contractual aspects of projects, ensuring that all payments and variations are processed in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify estimates, budgets, cash flows, and financial reports related to projects, with the assistance of consultants when necessary.
  • Cursory audit of payment certificates prior to PD/COO signature concerning variations, contract completion, penalties, and release of retention.
  • Allocate and monitor QS-related tasks, ensure their completion, and report periodically, including evaluating subordinate performance.
  • Review claims, final accounts, and variations in line with contract conditions and Omran standards.
  • Manage contractual correspondence and coordinate with contractors and consultants during disputes.
  • Facilitate dispute resolution processes, including negotiations.
  • Support teams to promote ICV/SMEs in accordance with regulations without compromising cost or quality.
  • Process direct payments as required.
  • Perform other duties or assignments as directed by the department head.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Professional membership (preferably RICS) or equivalent.
  • 10-12 years of experience in large-scale development within the GCC.
  • Experience in post-award contractual management relevant to QS.
