The Contracting & Product Manager supports the contracting and negotiation processes with hotels & suppliers. The role involves working closely with Hotels & Suppliers to negotiate rates and contracts, enabling them to offer attractive deals to clients. This is a hands-on position in a competitive environment that requires energy, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Destination Manager in creating and executing the Contracting Plan to meet strategic objectives.
  2. Source, negotiate, and finalize hotel and supplier contracts aligned with market needs.
  3. Accurately load contracts, Special Promotions (SPOs), and Early Booking Offers (EBOs) into TBX promptly.
  4. Update General Hotel (GH) information, tariffs, and ready-made packages in TBX.
  5. Communicate all promotions to the Marketing team and ensure their circulation to clients.
  6. Analyze hotel trends and provide regular reports to management.
  7. Consolidate room nights and revenue statistics from contractors; provide actionable insights. Conduct weekly B2B rate comparisons to ensure competitiveness.
  8. Provide market intelligence based on discussions with hoteliers, competitors, and clients. Benchmark and communicate with hotels to ensure rate parity and resolve discrepancies.
  9. Negotiate special offers with key partners based on sales briefs and market requirements.
  10. Identify market needs in coordination with the Sales team.
  11. Coordinate with Reservations, Sales, and Suppliers to support new product launches.
  12. Assist with yield management initiatives to maximize profitability.
  13. Monitor contractors to ensure timely task completion and clarify contract or promotion details as needed.
  14. Perform additional duties related to contracting and product development as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • University qualification in Tourism or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in the Tourism sector, with mandatory experience in Oman or UAE, preferably within a contracting department (DMC/OTA).
