Senior Planning Engineer - Associate

About the Role

The Senior Planning Engineer Associate plays a crucial role in supporting project planning teams in implementing Project Systems/Project Management Systems by preparing project plans according to the defined structure in the Planning and Execution manual.

This includes facilitating project launching teams in preparing initial budgets in Project Systems/Project Management Systems, as well as preparing forecasting-related reports as outlined in the Planning and Execution manual.

The successful candidate will share cost and progress reports (KPI, PSS, etc.) with project planning teams to highlight increases in costs and budget overruns for controlling purposes as per the Planning and Execution manual.

Additionally, the Senior Planning Engineer Associate will provide feedback, analysis, and comments on progress reports, regularly reviewing project-wise costs and progress to identify gaps and budget overruns, areas of improvement, and critical factors affecting costs and progress.

Other key responsibilities include executing scheduled audits according to guidelines provided by Manager Planning & Cost Control, preparing audit reports according to procedure, and arranging training for new and ongoing project planning staff.

In this role, you will ensure that all project planning activities are conducted in accordance with established procedures and best practices, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues to improve project planning processes and outcomes.

Requirements

Education

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil and Mechanical Engineering is required.

Experience

The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of practical experience working with Oil and Gas Upstream Companies.

Language Skills

Proficiency in English language is essential.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position requiring regular working hours in an office environment.
