Job Summary

As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative menus that cater to the diverse tastes of our guests.

  • You will collaborate with our Food and Beverage Manager to set prices for menu items, ensuring they are competitive in the market.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and presentation is crucial to exceeding customer expectations.
  • To stay ahead, you will need to continuously update your knowledge of the latest trends and techniques in the hospitality industry.
  • You will oversee the maintenance of inventory levels and source supplies and food from approved vendors, ensuring efficient operations and minimizing waste.
  • In addition to managing kitchen staff, you will also be responsible for directing them in meal preparation, plating, and delivery, ensuring seamless service.
  • To maintain a safe working environment, you will implement and enforce strict hygiene protocols, minimize equipment breakage, and optimize resource flows.
  • Compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations is non-negotiable, and you will ensure that our kitchen meets these standards at all times.
  • Your expertise will also be called upon to introduce new culinary techniques, enhancing our menu offerings and keeping our dishes exciting and fresh.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course, demonstrating your commitment to culinary excellence.
  • No less than 7 years of experience in high-quality establishments, showcasing your ability to lead and innovate.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, allowing you to effectively collaborate with your team and manage the kitchen with confidence.
