Food & Beverage Team Member

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team as a Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Job Description:

The Food & Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality food and beverage service to guests. This includes managing inventory levels, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, and maintaining effective communication with colleagues across the hotel.

  • Supports the smooth running of the food & beverage department by implementing efficient systems and processes to drive productivity and quality.
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and objectives, including enhancing guest satisfaction and comfort through timely responses to inquiries.
  • Supervises the food & beverage team, fostering a culture of growth, development, and performance within the department, and leading by example to inspire others.
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Ensures adherence to all legislation, regulatory requirements, and best practices in food safety and hygiene standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Applicants should possess:

  • A minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar capacity or related field.
  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build rapport with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Hands-on knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and other relevant technology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural setting, promoting respect and inclusivity for colleagues and guests alike.
