The role of a Food and Beverage Service Team Member in Dreamland Barr Al Jissah is to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As part of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring that every guest interaction is memorable and enjoyable.
Responsibilities:
- Have a thorough understanding of the menu offerings and preparation methods.
- Recommend menu items to guests based on their preferences and dietary needs.
- Take orders accurately and serve food with care and attention to detail.
- Ensure the restaurant is prepared for service, including setting tables and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely delivery of food to guests.
- Verify accuracy of invoices and post accordingly.
- Adhere to Shangri-La's Food Safety and Security Processes and Procedures.
- Support fellow colleagues in achieving the success of the F&B outlet.
- Assist the manager in maintaining efficient service procedures.
- Display excellent communication skills to engage with guests.
Requirements:
- Proficient English language skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Hotel school degree or diploma is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a food and beverage service team member in a 5-star hotel.
