Restaurant Operations Manager
">This role oversees the day-to-day functioning of a hotel's all-day dining restaurant, focusing on delivering exceptional guest experiences, efficient operations, and profitability.
The Restaurant Operations Manager leads the front-of-house team in maintaining high standards of service, manages budgets, and collaborates with the kitchen and hotel departments to provide consistent and high-quality dining experiences.
- Schedules and supervises staff to ensure seamless operations during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.
- Ensures outstanding customer service and effectively addresses guest feedback.
- Learns, motivates, and develops the service team to achieve high standards of hospitality and professionalism.
- Determines and implements staffing schedules based on business forecasts and demands.
- Closely works with the culinary team for effective food delivery and service coordination.
- Maintains cleanliness, ambiance, and presentation of the restaurant in accordance with brand standards.
- Manages inventory levels, orders supplies, and ensures proper stock rotation.
- Enforces hotel and department policies, health & safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
- Analyzes sales reports and drives revenue through promotions, upselling, and guest engagement.
- Assists in budget planning, cost control, and achieving financial targets.
- Plans and executes restaurant events, promotions, or themed nights to attract guests.
- Stays updated on current food & beverage trends, guest preferences, and competitor offerings.
- A degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food & beverage service, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Excellent customer service orientation with attention to detail is necessary.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software is required.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, wine service, and HACCP regulations is necessary.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, is required.
