Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Human Resources is a key role within our organization, responsible for safeguarding the pillars of sustainability, wellness, and extraordinary experiences through strategic planning and development.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the efficient operation of the Human Resources department, providing exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.
  2. Prepare and implement the resorts' human resources plan, including manpower planning, benefits, payroll budget, training, and induction plans in line with needs and host engagement initiatives.
  3. Recruitment, succession planning, career development plans, host satisfaction surveys, formulation of corrective action, arrange periodic host meetings and awards, analyze host turnover statistics and trends, ensure job descriptions are up-to-date and relevant, and maintain confidential host files.
  4. Conduct periodic salary and benefits surveys, making recommendations to remain competitive and in line with local prevailing statutes.
  5. Host accommodation and facilities, along with the host restaurant and host committee, career fairs, and various other host activities.
  6. Champion social and environmental activities in coordination with the Sustainability Manager and coordinate with identified organizations to carry out planned social responsibility initiatives.
  7. Talent management for our hotel and for Six Senses.
  8. Assess training and human resources practices to remain relevant and effective.
  9. Establish and deliver pre-established financial returns related to revenue generation, profitability, and ROIC.

Key Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management, plus 4 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • More than five years' experience in a similar human resources role within luxury resorts is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Computer programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., and Human Resources/payroll systems.
  • Managed multi-cultural teams within a luxury resort.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Able to live in a remote location for extended periods of time and travel on single status.
