Mandarin Oriental Muscat seeks a skilled Duty Technician to join its Engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the proper and safe condition of all plant, equipment, and work areas. This includes adhering to fire, life, health, and safety standards as well as being conversant with hotel emergency procedures.

As Duty Technician, you will perform Emergency Response Team duties as required and maintain a clean, neat, and tidy personal presentation at all times. You will also be courteous, professional, and service-oriented when dealing with guests, patrons, and fellow staff members.

A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment is required. Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to organize and handle multiple tasks effectively are essential qualities for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain proper and safe condition of all plant, equipment, and work areas
  • Comply with all Fire, Life, Health, and Safety Standards
  • Be conversant with Hotel Emergency Procedures
  • Perform Emergency Response Team duties as required
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and tidy personal presentation at all times
  • Be courteous, professional, and service-oriented when dealing with Guests, Patrons, and Fellow Staff Members
  • Assist Guests, Patrons, and Fellow Staff Members as appropriate

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment
