Job Title: Housekeeping Operations Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Operations Manager to oversee the daily housekeeping operations in our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

Key responsibilities include supervising housekeeping staff, inspecting guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance issues, assigning daily tasks and special projects, monitoring staff performance, and providing training and coaching as needed.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a housekeeping role with at least one year of supervisory or team lead experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential, as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional requirements include working knowledge of housekeeping equipment and cleaning procedures, basic computer skills, and familiarity with housekeeping or property management systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to hotel standards.
  • Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance issues.
  • Assign daily tasks and special projects to room attendants and other housekeeping personnel.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide training, coaching, and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping role with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead position.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of housekeeping equipment and cleaning procedures.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with housekeeping or property management systems (preferred).
