**Housekeeping Supervisor Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the hotel meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping or hospitality, with previous experience in a supervisory role. They will be able to motivate and manage a team effectively, while also possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the housekeeping team
  • Developing and implementing cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Inspecting rooms and public areas to ensure they meet required standards
  • Training and mentoring housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and equipment use
  • Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained
  • Addressing and resolving customer complaints or issues related to housekeeping services
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations of housekeeping staff
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping or hospitality
  • Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
