Seeking an accomplished Food Operations Manager to oversee daily food and beverage operations. This role is responsible for managing a team of staff, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and profitability.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive business results. Key responsibilities include:
- Operational Management:
- Supervise day-to-day restaurant, bar, banquet, and in-room dining operations.
- Ensure all outlets meet company standards of quality, presentation, and service.
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through effective monitoring and improvement initiatives.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff performance to ensure excellence.
- Foster a positive team environment through strong leadership and clear communication.
- Conduct regular team briefings, training sessions, and performance reviews to drive success.
- Financial & Cost Control:
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and profit and loss statements to drive business growth.
- Implement strategies to maximize revenue and control costs (labor, food, beverages).
- Maintain optimal inventory levels, purchasing, and stock management to minimize wastage and ensure availability.
- Guest Experience:
- Maintain a visible presence in F&B areas during peak times to interact with guests.
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
- E nsure full compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop new menus in collaboration with chefs and bar staff to align with trends and guest preferences.
- Drive innovation, promotional activities, and seasonal campaigns to boost sales.
- Analyze F&B performance metrics and implement improvement plans to enhance business performance.
- Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure full compliance with licensing, hygiene, and safety legislation.
- Maintain brand and service standards across all F&B outlets.
