About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Business Development Manager and drive growth in the media and events industry.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end sales process, identifying opportunities, pitching, negotiating and closing deals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Sales Management: Leading the sales process, including identifying opportunities, pitching, negotiating and closing deals.
    • Sponsorships & Advertising: Selling sponsorships for high-profile events and advertising packages across our digital, print and social media platforms.
    • Client Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
    • Strategic Planning: Identifying new revenue streams, upselling opportunities and contributing to the business development strategy.
    • Collaboration: Working closely with marketing, production and editorial teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 2-10 years in sales management, preferably in digital media, event sponsorships, radio or print media.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • A degree in business management, sales or marketing management is ideal.
