Cultural Ambassador Job Description

This role requires a highly skilled individual to serve as the cultural face of the hotel and the symbolic gateway to Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing Mandarin Oriental's legendary hospitality with warmth, heritage, and traditions of the Sultanate of Oman.

The Cultural Ambassador will be the first point of contact for guests entering the hotel, blending Mandarin Oriental's hospitality with Omani customs and etiquette. This position is positioned in the heart of the lobby, ensuring every guest encounter reflects a deep sense of place and pride in Omani identity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet all guests in traditional Omani attire with warmth and professionalism.
  • Share insights into Omani customs, traditions, and etiquette.
  • Offer dates, Omani coffee, or incense where appropriate.
  • Recommend cultural attractions and local experiences.
