Trade Marketing Manager

Rethink your approach to customer engagement and brand success by taking on this pivotal role in a leading FMCG company. As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive business growth through effective trade spend management across various channels and regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver local trade activities to enhance business performance and optimize sales results.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to localize central activities, ensuring alignment with regional requirements.
  • Work closely with General & Modern Trade managers to plan and execute channel-specific initiatives, maximizing ROI.
  • Develop locally relevant POS materials, working with Sales Development to ensure effective in-store communication.
  • Analyze customer-specific sales data to gain insights into customer behavior and preferences.
  • Design customer-specific plans based on customer insights, collaborating with top customer sales teams & Modern Trade managers.
  • Evaluate and monitor trade marketing activities to deliver maximum ROI, allocating resources effectively to support sales teams throughout the year.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest market trends and customer needs.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, preferably in an FMCG environment.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing category strategies.
  • Experience in managing trade budgets and analyzing sales data.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with leadership potential.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, think strategically, and creatively.
