Project Director

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the end-to-end management of a luxury 5-star resort renovation project in Muscat, Oman.

About the Project
  • This is an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a proposal-based role, subject to project award.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the project, from design to construction supervision. They will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage consultants and contractors, and ensure the project aligns with time, cost, and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the end-to-end management of the resort renovation project.
  2. Ensure alignment with project goals, contractual obligations, and client expectations.
  3. Oversee the performance of consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
  4. Monitor project milestones and apply corrective actions to avoid delays.
  5. Manage project budget and enforce cost control measures.
  6. Foster a collaborative and results-driven project environment.
  7. Serve as the main point of contact for the client and external stakeholders.
  8. Mentor and manage the project team to ensure effective delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in design, construction, and project management.
  • At least 8 years of experience as Project Director for high-end hospitality projects in Oman/GCC.
  • Demonstrated leadership in large-scale resort or 5-star hotel projects.
  • Strong interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, and contract management skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
