Job Title

We are seeking a talented Risk Management Professional to join our team.

This role involves identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with our operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of risk management principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business leaders to identify, assess, measure, monitor, and manage risks
  • Provide support for Credit Risk Management of Meethaq & International Operations
  • Support Market and Liquidity Risk Management of Meethaq & International Operations
  • Operational Risk Management of Meethaq & International Operations

Accountabilities:

  • Risk rating of corporate and SME borrowers of international branches to facilitate lending decisions
  • Prepare risk-based pricing for corporate clients of overseas branches and Meethaq
  • Monthly monitoring classification of Corporate and SME
  • Monitoring Excess Over limit, Temporary Overdraft of Islamic Banking Corporate and SME customers
  • Monitor mid-office function including Meethaq treasury limits and prepare/circulate reports to stakeholders
  • Assist in collecting counterparty bank & country exposures and update the same in the CBL system
  • Maintain a robust Operational Risk Framework for Meethaq including KRIs, CRSA, and Loss data base
  • Comprehensive review about at least one Meethaq retail product
  • Perform in-depth risk portfolio reviews for Corporate and Retail segments across Meethaq and International Branches
  • Traveling along with Head in International branches if required and prepare reports and findings from international branch visits, highlighting key risk issues and recommendations
  • Review and evaluate credit proposals of international branches, ensuring adherence to credit policies and risk parameters
  • Participate in regular meetings with International Branch Credit teams to discuss risk findings and align on risk strategies
  • Review credit proposals for Meethaq and International Branches, ensuring compliance with internal risk guidelines
  • Assess Retail Exceptions Proposals and provide risk-based recommendations
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to gather MIS data and other essential information required for portfolio reviews
