Highly Experienced Technical Safety Specialist Wanted

We are seeking an experienced technical safety professional to join our team in Muscat, Oman.
About the Role:This is a 3-4 month contract opportunity with a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy specialising in oil and gas engineering across upstream, downstream, and midstream sectors. They offer EPC services on large-scale contracts.
- Develop and implement project HSSE and SP strategies.
- Conduct Physical Effects Modelling and Quantitative Risk Assessments.
- Utilise software such as FRED and SHEPHERD.
- Apply safety case regulations and ALARP principles.
- Facilitate hazard workshops (HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, Bow-Ties, ALARP, SIMOPs).
- Develop ALARP demonstrations for Process Safety risks.
- Participate in project work from design to manufacturing, construction, installation, and production.
A degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is required, along with minimum of 7 years' experience, with at least 5 years in Technical Safety. Sour Gas project experience is preferred, as well as experience in QRAs and Oil and Gas industry experience.
