Accounting Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Additionally, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently handle the full cycle of accounting up to finalization.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, including cash reconciliation and bank reconciliation.
  • Liaise with banks to raise finances as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
  • Coordinate with sales and deliveries for timely invoicing and follow-up of payments.
  • Prepare budgeting reports.
  • Assist in financial forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize financial processes and support business growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Experience in handling and monitoring cash flow, cash reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of MIS (Management Information Systems).
  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in VAT preparation and filing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
