We are seeking an exceptional leader to oversee the optimal level of guest satisfaction and departmental profitability in a collaborative and high-morale environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering a food product that reflects our brand's vision and personality in terms of quality and presentation.
- Coordinating all business activities in Buzz, including supervising and monitoring F&B costs in Buzz and Room Service.
- Implementing proactive actions to enhance profitability.
- Fostering teamwork and enhancing the team's commitment to their work and the organization.
- Delegating responsibilities appropriately based on ability, ensuring sufficient authority and resources.
- Effectively recruiting, interviewing, and hiring suitable staff.
- Communicating our brand's vision and personality to the team and integrating it into business practices.
- Providing training for current roles and future growth opportunities.
- Setting and communicating high performance standards.
- Recognizing outstanding performance and addressing substandard performance fairly and promptly.
- Scheduling staff according to business needs.
- Preparing the annual department business plan.
- Monitoring the department's budget and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Ensuring value for money while controlling costs.
- Effectively communicating at all organizational levels using appropriate methods.
- Conducting regular briefings and follow-ups.
- Adapting to changes in job requirements and operational strategies.
- Maintaining efficient administrative systems.
- Pursuing professional development through self-learning and training programs.
- Staying informed about developments in the field.
- Implementing established operational standards.
- Collaborating with Accounting on inventory procedures.
Ensuring proper cash-handling procedures are followed in your departments.
- Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
Maintaining buffet setups, service style, tabletop, and overall presentation of Buzz and Room Service to align with our brand's image.
Seeking profit enhancements by monitoring sales costs and implementing revenue-increasing activities.
- Collaborating with the Food & Beverage Manager and Marketing Communications to maximize Buzz's market exposure.
- Experience in a supervisory F&B role within a luxury hotel or fine dining outlet.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for hospitality.
- Knowledge of MICROS or similar systems.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
