Executive Chef Position

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to oversee the culinary operations of our restaurant.

  • Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Create new menus and recipes that showcase Indian cuisine with a modern twist.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to ensure the use of fresh ingredients.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed by the kitchen staff at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, inventory, and kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to create promotional events or special menus.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine with a creative flair for modern interpretation.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Understanding of food costing, inventory management, and health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have experience working with international cuisine.
  • Knowledge of Arabic cuisine is a plus.
