**Institutional Sales Manager Role**

Job Overview

This role involves leading strategic sales initiatives, delivering customized investment solutions, and enhancing the company's market presence within the institutional segment. By combining market expertise, leadership skills, and a client-focused approach, the Manager will contribute to achieving revenue targets, fostering long-term client partnerships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow institutional client relationships in GCC across asset management and brokerage offerings.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for institutional clients such as banks, pension funds, insurance companies, corporates, and family offices ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align institutional sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Sales Management and Business Development

  • Identify and target prospective institutional clients, leveraging industry networks and market insights.
  • Drive sales of asset management products (mutual funds, portfolios) and brokerage services, achieving assigned revenue and profitability targets.
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.

Product Knowledge and Market Expertise

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's asset management products and brokerage services.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for product positioning.

Collaboration and Teamwork

  • Work closely with portfolio managers, research teams, brokerage and operational units to deliver cohesive and customized solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions and services.
  • Ensure all client activities and transactions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Prepare detailed sales and performance reports for senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor from an accredited Institution in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field. Master, and CFA will be an advantage.

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in institutional sales within the asset management industry or sell-side experience, with a track record of leadership.
  • Strong industry network in GCC with established relationships in the institutional market.
