F&B Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and courteous F&B Attendant to join our team. As an F&B Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will have a charming and professional approach to meet guests' requirements. They will work under the general guidance and direction of the Restaurant Manager or delegate, adhering to established policies and procedures.

A typical day for this role may include:

  • Serving customers promptly by taking correct orders, posting bills, collecting, serving orders, and settling bills.
  • Promoting all menu items and promotions to ensure maximum sales and revenue.
  • Ensuring opening and closing duties are followed according to checklists to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Responsible for all service preparation, including polishing glasses, cutlery, and wiping tables.
  • Clearing and arranging stations to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Verifying that all menu items are sold at the correct selling price to ensure planned profitability.
  • Double-checking billings to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel or company policies.
  • Maintaining company grooming and hygiene, as well as uniform standards, to represent the hotel positively.
  • Complying with timekeeping and attendance policies to ensure efficient operation.
  • Performing other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
  • Staying informed about relevant employment laws and hotel or company policies to ensure compliance.
Key Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a 4–5-star hotel.
  • Excellent knowledge of spirits and wines to provide expert recommendations.
  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) is essential, with Arabic being an advantage.
  • Good understanding of micros operating system to efficiently manage orders and sales.
  • Superb customer service skills to consistently deliver exceptional experiences.
