Job Title: Arabic Hostess

The role of the Arabic Hostess is to provide a warm and welcoming experience for guests entering the hotel's Arabic restaurant or food outlet. This includes ensuring a culturally respectful greeting and seating experience, reflecting Arabic hospitality traditions.

  • The successful candidate will manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and assist with guest inquiries in Arabic and other languages as needed.
  • This involves maintaining clear communication with restaurant staff to coordinate smooth seating and service flow.
Responsibilities:

Guest Experience: Greet guests warmly upon arrival with Arabic hospitality etiquette and offer assistance in seating them promptly.

Reservations and Seating: Manage reservations, guest waiting lists, and table assignments efficiently.

Communication: Maintain clear communication with restaurant staff to coordinate smooth seating and service flow.

Guest Services: Provide guests with menus, explain daily specials or promotions, and answer basic questions about the menu in Arabic.

  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Ensure the reception and waiting areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
Requirements:

Language Skills: Fluent in Arabic and good command of English (additional languages are a plus).

Experience: Previous experience as a hostess, front desk staff, or in guest services, preferably in a hospitality or food & beverage setting.

Skillset: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, warm, friendly, and professional demeanor with a strong customer service orientation.

Additional Qualifications: Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, knowledge of Arabic dining customs and hospitality culture is highly desirable.
