Job Overview:

The role of a Service Operations Manager is pivotal in ensuring the seamless delivery of food and beverage services. This individual will oversee daily service operations, focusing on providing exceptional guest experiences while supporting staff performance and training under the guidance of senior leadership.

This position requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and train service staff, monitor service flow and table setup, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

  • Supervise daily service operations to maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Lead and train service staff during shifts, promoting adherence to hotel standards and procedures.
  • Monitor service flow and table setup, ensuring cleanliness and presentation are consistently met.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for efficient food and beverage delivery.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest issues or complaints.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (including HACCP).
  • Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and managing shift coverage as needed.
  • Monitor inventory, manage requisitions, and ensure availability of supplies and equipment.
Key Requirements:
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in food & beverage service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Good knowledge of food & beverage service procedures, wine, and cocktail basics.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
