Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the contracting process, developing commercial and technical evaluation models, and ensuring the successful execution of contracts.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 12+ years of experience in contract management, with a bachelor's degree in Engineering. They should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.

About the Role:
  1. Stakeholder Coordination: You will liaise with end users and support departments (finance, legal, HR) to develop tendering and contracting strategies.
  2. Evaluation and Development: Develop commercial and technical evaluation models to assess bids and make recommendations.
  3. Contracting Process: Lead communication during tendering, issue invitations, prepare responses to clarifications, and ensure receipt of bid documents.
  4. Contract Review and Recommendations: Review bids, perform evaluations, and recommend contract awards.
  5. Presentation: Present strategies, evaluation results, and award recommendations to relevant committees.
  6. Approval and Documentation: Obtain necessary approvals and ensure complete contract documentation for audit purposes.
  7. Negotiation: Develop strategies and lead negotiations with vendors.
  8. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform sourcing strategies.
  9. Vendor Management: Monitor vendors, manage contract renewals, and coordinate actions related to contract expiry and amendments.
  10. Vendor Relations: Conduct regular reviews with vendors to assess needs and performance.
