The Contracting & Product Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the contracting and negotiation processes with hotels and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contracting Plan Development: Collaborate with the Destination Manager to create and execute a comprehensive Contracting Plan, aligning with strategic objectives.
  2. Hotel and Supplier Contracting: Source, negotiate, and finalize contracts with hotels and suppliers, ensuring alignment with market needs.
  3. Contract Loading and Updates: Accurately load contracts, Special Promotions (SPOs), and Early Booking Offers (EBOs) into the system promptly, while also updating General Hotel (GH) information, tariffs, and ready-made packages.
  4. Promotion Communication: Effectively communicate all promotions to the Marketing team, ensuring timely circulation to clients.
  5. Market Analysis and Reporting: Analyze hotel trends, providing regular reports to management, and offer actionable insights.
  6. Rate Comparisons and Parity: Conduct weekly B2B rate comparisons to ensure competitiveness, benchmark rates, and resolve discrepancies with hotels.
  7. Negotiation of Special Offers: Negotiate special offers with key partners based on sales briefs and market requirements.
  8. Market Needs Identification: Collaborate with the Sales team to identify market needs, ensuring alignment with sales strategies.
  9. New Product Launch Support: Coordinate with Reservations, Sales, and Suppliers to support new product launches, enhancing customer experience.
  10. Yield Management Initiatives: Assist with yield management initiatives to maximize profitability, analyzing data to inform business decisions.
  11. Contractor Monitoring: Monitor contractors, ensuring timely task completion and clarifying contract or promotion details as needed.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Tourism or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Tourism sector, with mandatory experience in Oman or UAE, preferably within a contracting department.
