Lead Kitchen Professional

As a Lead Kitchen Professional, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be responsible for the execution of dishes and recipes, ensuring that they are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary education background and at least 2 years experience as a Senior Chef de Partie in a high-volume restaurant. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of kitchen assistants and apprentices.

The role requires the ability to work well under pressure, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor even in the most hectic of situations. A strong attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Lead a team of kitchen assistants and apprentices, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Manage inventory and control stock levels, minimizing waste and excess
  • Participate in menu planning and development, working closely with the head chef and other kitchen professionals
Requirements:
  • Culinary education background
  • At least 2 years experience as a Senior Chef de Partie in a high-volume restaurant
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor
