Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Contracts Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing contracts with vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Liaise with stakeholders and support departments to develop tendering and contracting strategies.
  2. Develop commercial evaluation models and participate in technical evaluation model development.
  3. Lead communication with bidders during the tendering process, including issuing invitations and preparing responses to clarifications.
  4. Review and perform commercial evaluations, formulating contract award recommendations.
  5. Present contract strategies, evaluation results, and award recommendations to senior management.
  6. Secure necessary approvals for commitments and issue contracts and agreements.
  7. Develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiation sessions.
  8. Conduct market analysis and benchmarking, converting research data into clear outsourcing recommendations and sourcing plans.
  9. Identify and monitor vendor changes and developments.
  10. Review contract spending and expiry dates, coordinating with vendors on required actions.
  11. Manage contracts, including preparing amendments and extensions, and securing necessary approvals.
  12. Ensure complete contract documentation for audit trail purposes.
  13. Collaborate with vendors to anticipate needs and determine requirements.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 12+ years of experience in contract management or a related field.
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
