The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent technical skills and be able to communicate effectively with the development team. As a Technical Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products through application quality control and quality assurance, deploying them into a production environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Communicating product vision and priorities to the development team.
  • Rerouting and adjusting long-term expectations such as release plans.
  • Making final determinations on requirements questions.
  • Evaluating whether the product is ready for customer release.
  • Creating stories from requirement specifications.
  • Estimating story size and time.
  • Managing and assigning stories to developers.
  • Monitoring project progress.
  • Conducting static testing (verifying business need, documented requirements, system requirement specification).
  • Executing dynamic testing (validating constructed build, unit testing, integration testing, system testing, UAT).
  • Creating test cases and scenarios using various techniques.
  • Carrying out functional testing (functional, smoke, sanity, regression testing).
  • Executing non-functional testing (usability, UI, performance, security, compatibility, recovery testing).
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Fresh graduates or up to 3 years' experience in a familiar field.
  • Experience in Static Testing and Dynamic Testing.
  • Knowledge in Test Management Tools.
  • Knowledge in Requirement Management Tools.
  • Security Testing tool expertise is a plus.
  • Knowledge in SDLC and Test Process Phases.
  • Understanding of Faults, Test Cases, and Scenarios Priority.
  • Proficiency in J2EE Technology (EJB, JSP, SERVLETS), Web Services, JAVA XML API'S, C++, C#, Browsers, Cookies, XML, and HTML.
  • Oracle 11g knowledge.
  • UML Design understanding.
  • Gap Analysis knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team player ability.
  • Pressure management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective communication.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Time management skills.
