Business Operations Director


Overview:

The Business Operations Director plays a pivotal role in driving the organization's operational excellence, governance, and strategic initiatives to create stakeholder value.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, governance models, business goals, and objectives aligned with the company's vision and mission.
  • Manage and execute operational excellence to meet optimal operational levels, supporting short- and long-term business objectives.
  • Establish and implement operational policies, processes, and controls in compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and international standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build strategic relationships and resolve issues in the organization's best interest.
  • Lead the preparation and monitoring of budgets, analyzing financial performance against targets to anticipate costs and revenues.
  • Oversee employee performance management, staff engagement, leadership development, training, and competency management to foster a high-performance culture and develop future leaders.
  • Ensure adherence to HSE practices to provide a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Review hotel operating performance, develop asset management strategies, and establish reporting platforms for hotel performance.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business operations, strategy, and governance.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and performance management.
  • Understanding of HSE practices and regulations.
  • Hotel industry knowledge and experience an advantage.
