About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Barista. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and specialty beverages to our guests.

As a Barista, you will play a vital role in enhancing guest satisfaction by delivering excellent product knowledge, consistency in preparation, and exceptional customer service in line with our hotel's standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, bar area, and equipment.
  • Ensure proper inventory of coffee, milk, syrups, and supplies; communicate needs to management.
  • Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations when requested.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Handle transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system when necessary.
  • Upsell beverages, pastries, or snacks to maximize sales.
  • Ensure all beverages are presented attractively and consistently.
  • Assist in opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking.
  • Maintain knowledge of seasonal menu items and promotions.
Requirements
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Barista or in a related role, preferably in a hotel or high-end setting.
  • Familiarity with coffee types, brewing methods, and latte art is an advantage.
  • A basic understanding of food and beverage hygiene standards.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills.
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
