
Sales Development Manager

About the RoleThis key position involves overseeing a portfolio of high-value clients, cultivating relationships, and driving sales growth through strategic planning and execution.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring timely delivery of solutions and exceeding customer expectations.
- Identify new business opportunities, assess market trends, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline order processing, payment collections, and exception approvals.
- 7-10 years of experience in account management, preferably in industrial automation or related fields.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, developing local system integrators, and implementing successful projects.
- Strong knowledge of local and international laws, regulations, and policies regarding customs, excise, taxes, and company processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- University degree in Sales, Business Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience in distributing industrial automation products, networking, wireless technology, CCTV, telecommunications, or similar industries is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Automation Plants, Electric Power, Water, Gas Utilities, Oil & Gas, Transportation (Road, Airports, Ports, Railways, Metro), Government (Mission Critical, Harsh Environment, High Availability).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
