
Sales Strategy Manager

A Sales Strategy Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for spearheading the hotel's sales and marketing efforts.
About the RoleThis position requires a strategic thinker who can drive growth initiatives, monitor progress, and ensure the hotel remains competitive in its local market.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with business objectives and focus sales efforts on key market segments.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify areas requiring additional support and drive focused activities to address these needs.
- Prepare contracts for the hotel, taking into account current business conditions and market trends.
- Maintain offers, options, and discounts for repeat bookings, working closely with the group coordinator.
- Lead the sales team through leadership and example, focusing on sales development, hiring, and future success.
- Direct and manage forecasting processes with the revenue department to ensure accurate, timely, and complete information.
- Compile and/or direct the preparation of reports, including the annual and monthly forecast, lead management system, and booking reports.
- Participate in the preparation of the annual sales and market plan, quarterly updates, and complex hotels' annual budgets, executing initiatives as outlined and implementing strategies to offset changes in markets or economy.
- Contribute to company sales and marketing initiatives by recommending, implementing, and monitoring local activities.
- Organize comprehensive information describing the hotel's products and services and deliver this information through relevant sales resources and channels to existing and potential guests.
- Produce accurate and timely reports meeting the needs of the hotel and management company.
- Presents, on a monthly basis, the contribution, focus, and activity of the proactive sales team to hotel owners and senior management.
