Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Security Operations Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the SecOps team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and evolving Canonical's security practices, techniques, tools, systems and policies.


">

The Security Operations (SecOps) team is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of Canonical's infrastructure and product deployments. This includes identifying, containing and remediating security threats and cyber attacks.


">

The ideal candidate will have previous professional experience working or leading a Security Operation Center, as well as expertise in threat modelling and risk management frameworks.


">

They will also possess knowledge of security architecture and market-leading security tools, as well as experience contributing to and consuming threat intelligence feeds.


">Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path
  • Previous professional experience working or leading a Security Operation Center
  • Expertise in threat modelling and risk management frameworks
  • Knowledge of security architecture and market-leading security tools
  • Experience contributing to and consuming threat intelligence feeds
