Operations Assistant Manager
The role of an Operations Assistant Manager is to support the Operations Manager in achieving business targets by coordinating daily operational tasks, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that workflows align with company standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving service levels, facilitating cross-departmental collaboration, and assisting in project execution within a specific market.
The ideal candidate will maintain quality standards, support the implementation of strategic initiatives, ensure adherence to client turnaround times, Service Level Agreements, regulatory reporting requirements, and assist in performance monitoring across departments.
The Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for the performance and management of various departments, including production, medical/pre-authorization, claims, call center, and network departments within the specified market.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support the annual strategic, operational, and financial planning process by collecting and analyzing data and generating detailed performance reports for internal review and client updates.
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and regulatory standards.
- Lead projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
- Monitor departmental KPIs, client turnaround times, and SLA performance, and provide regular updates.
- Assist in analyzing data for budget recommendations, resource planning, and cost-benefit analysis of operational investments.
- Support efficiency improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.
- Operate under the strategic guidance of the Operations Manager while exercising independent judgment in day-to-day operations.
- Make decisions within project and operational scopes to ensure targets and objectives are met effectively.
Your Ideal Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in medicine, business, or MBA.
- AAPC certification, Certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Large experience in managing complex operations environments, at least the last 5 years in Senior roles with an operational track record with proven results.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially profound experience in developing PowerPoint presentations, MS projects, and Excel.
- Experience in managing operations through efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
- Fluent in business English (verbal and written skills).
- Ability to provide leadership & motivate team members.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of the organization.
