Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced structural supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil/structural engineering, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing steel works projects.

  • This is a senior role that requires excellent leadership and technical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise
  • Review and validate IFC drawings, shop drawings, and structural calculations to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify that ongoing steel erection and concrete works meet the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate interfaces between structural, architectural, and MEP teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Validate material submittals, including steel grades, welding, and concrete mix, to guarantee their suitability for the project.
  • Ensure contractors adhere to project specifications, codes, and standards through regular monitoring and enforcement.
  • Review method statements and temporary works designs to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Address technical queries and site issues promptly, providing timely resolutions to maintain project momentum.
  • Oversee structural inspections, including non-destructive testing (NDT), bolt torquing, and alignment, to guarantee the integrity of the structure.
  • Prepare daily and weekly structural inspection reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • PARTicipate in coordination meetings to assess the impact of changes on the structural integrity of the project.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in structural supervision, with a strong background in managing major steel works projects.
  • Proficiency in STAAD, Tekla, and knowledge of Eurocodes or ACI/ASD standards.
