Job Title

GAC Oman is expanding its customs clearance, freight forwarding, and sea export operations and seeks a Customer Support Specialist with strong logistics expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate full-cycle customs clearance and export documentation (BLs, COO, HS codes)
  • Handle customer inquiries related to transportation and export status
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customs officials, port authorities, and shipping lines
  • Maintain up-to-date client records and ensure timely cargo movements
  • Prepare and send regular updates and reports to clients
Requirements

For success in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years' experience in customs brokerage, sea exports, or transportation logistics
  • Strong knowledge of Oman customs regulations, export documentation, and trade compliance
  • Good command of English (spoken and written); Arabic will be considered an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office, with excellent organisational and data entry skills
  • Customer-focused with a collaborative and ethical work approach
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
