Housekeeping Attendant

The cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms, corridors, and assigned public areas are maintained by the Housekeeping Attendant. This role is vital in ensuring a high standard of hygiene and guest satisfaction.

The primary duties include cleaning, tidying, and preparing guest rooms daily. This involves making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and replenishing amenities. The bathrooms must be cleaned thoroughly, including sanitizing toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, and floors.

A clean and organized workspace is essential for this role. The equipment and tools must be kept in good working condition. Safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies must be followed at all times.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset, but training can be provided. The ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a team is crucial. Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks are also necessary.

This role requires flexibility, with shifts, weekends, and holidays based on hotel occupancy. Basic English communication skills are required for verbal and written communication.
