Job Overview:

Sous Chef Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Chef de Cuisine in creating exceptional dishes and ensuring that all food meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Chef de Cuisine in planning and preparing menus
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure consistency and quality
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and ordering of ingredients
  • Lead by example and motivate colleagues to achieve high standards
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas
  • Conduct regular taste tests to ensure dishes meet quality standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements:
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or restaurant
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes and excellent customer service
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor during peak periods
