Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled Specialist Communications, PA to execute our communication strategy by aligning with the regional team and assigned media agency.

  • The ideal candidate will draft all internal and external communication of the company, including press releases, media statements, and media inquiries to promote a positive public image and increase visibility.

  • This role involves creating engagement content for different social media platforms, planning media and customer engagement activities, and adhering to the company's style and tone.

  • You will build long-term relationships with influencers, key stakeholders, journalists, and other external role players, and coordinate with the Marketing team to produce creative assets for departmental projects.

  • Additionally, you will work with different teams to brainstorm ideas to create content opportunities and determine worthy stories, leveraging analytics and reports to determine the effectiveness of campaigns.

Public Affairs

  • The successful candidate will identify and anticipate potential risks and opportunities for the company, gathering information from multiple sources and reporting findings in a clear and concise manner.

  • You will build relationships with government entities and work as an advocate for the company's best interests, bridging the gap between the company, government entities, and the business community.

Sustainability & CR

  • A passion for corporate social responsibility and sustainability is essential to ensure the company has a positive impact on local communities and the environment.

  • The ideal candidate will seek partnerships and cooperation with different entities to execute sustainability projects, building relationships with charities and educational entities.

  • You will assist in creating awareness materials to support the company's sustainable goals, promoting employee volunteering initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in communications or journalism is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in communications.

  • The successful candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Arabic), ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and have attention to detail.

  • Creative writing, problem-solving, and analytical thinking are essential skills for this role, as well as knowledge of digital/online/social media strategy, audience management, and analytics.
