Software Security Leader

This is a critical position responsible for safeguarding the security and integrity of our platform, ensuring it meets the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of software engineers to drive the implementation of secure engineering processes.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback to team members.
  • Identify and measure key performance indicators related to team health and productivity.
  • Develop and implement disciplined engineering practices to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Represent the team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers, providing technical expertise and support.
  • Develop and promote best engineering and organizational practices across the organization.
  • Plan and manage progress on agreed goals and projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet strict security requirements and customer needs.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional academic credentials from high school and university.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an alternative narrative that demonstrates equivalent skills and knowledge.
  • Proven track record of driving results, exceeding expectations, and delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Passion for developing and growing people, with a proven track record of mentoring and coaching.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results under pressure.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with colleagues, partners, and community.
  • Prior experience working on security-related projects and in-depth knowledge of security standards and guidelines.
  • Experience working with industry benchmarks and audit tools.
  • Knowledgeable about software security principles and passionate about applying them in practice.
  • Solid experience working in agile development environments.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
