Job Title: Cybersecurity Professional

Description:

  • This is a mid-senior level contract position that involves providing expert-level consulting on Cisco FTD, FMC, and ISE deployments, configurations, and troubleshooting.
  • The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in the security domain with a strong focus on Cisco security technologies.
  • A CCIE Security certification or equivalent expertise is required along with extensive experience with Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD), Firepower Management Center (FMC), and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
  • Strong programming skills in Python for security automation and orchestration are also necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design, implementation, and support of advanced Cisco security solutions.
  2. Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex security issues.
  3. Support pre-sales activities by working with customers to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  4. Assist with security audits and compliance requirements where necessary.
  5. Continuously stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in the security domain with a strong focus on Cisco security technologies.
  • CCIE Security certification or equivalent expertise.
  • Extensive experience with Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD), Firepower Management Center (FMC), and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
  • Strong programming skills in Python for security automation and orchestration.

Optional Skills:

  • Experience with Catalyst Center and its integration with security technologies.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Spaces for location-based services and security integration.
  • Knowledge of Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions.
  • Proficiency with Splunk for security information and event management (SIEM).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to address complex security challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
