Role Description
Credit and Collections Position

This role requires effective management of credit and collections functions. The key responsibilities include:

  1. Invoicing and Collections Management:
      Arrange invoices for submission to debt collectors.
      Verify timely invoicing and collection activities.
      Collect, scan, and store invoice confirmations.
      Publish the Billing Acknowledgment Report regularly.
  2. Credit Account Administration:
      Establish and manage credit customer accounts based on defined procedures.
      Monitor customers' credit allocations to avoid excessive billing.
      Document and pursue instances where customers exceed credit limits, ensuring adherence to established policies.
  3. Reporting and Compliance Management:
      Collaborate with the credit team on payment forecasts, daily collections, outstanding payments, and reconciliations.
      Ensure precise daily reporting in accordance with departmental protocols using Excel.
  4. Post-Dated Cheque Oversight:
      Supervise in-house customers' post-dated cheques, encompassing banking, reconciliation, accounting, and posting.
      Verify adherence to post-dated cheque protocols within the Credit and Collections department.
  5. Customer Interaction Management:
      Guarantee 100% compliance in collecting from assigned customers within specified timeframes.
      Foster positive relationships with customers while adhering to the Credit and Collections department's guidelines.
