Accounting Manager">

The company seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee and manage accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

  2. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of invoices and validate vendor bills against service entries in the system to adhere to accounting policies.">
  3. Process all receipts and payments as per credit terms and instructions with no overdue balance.">
  4. Follow up on accrued logistics income and expenses/unbilled invoices and open Purchase orders for book closure.">
  5. Reconcile customer and vendor ledgers and keep them up-to-date by closing unbilled invoices and LPOs, and contract receipts and payments on a job-by-job basis.">
  6. Prepare payments/receipts by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements and collections, maintaining records.">
  7. Carry out reconciliation with customer and supplier statements and obtain confirmation of balances.">
  8. Maintain finance petty cash and settle any urgent and immediate payments required.">
  9. Prepare accounting reports for presentation to the management team.">
  10. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.">
  11. Review journal entries, accruals, and month-end closing activities.">
  12. Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable cycles.">
  13. Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.">
  14. Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure proper documentation and recording of banking transactions.">
  15. Use ERP/accounting systems effectively and ensure data accuracy.">
  16. Supervise and guide junior accountants and finance staff in their daily tasks.">
  17. Identify skill gaps and propose training opportunities to enhance team capabilities.">
  18. Support professional growth through on-the-job training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.">
  19. Assist in setting performance objectives and KPIs for accounting team members.">
  20. Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment on financial processes, data, and reporting.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.">
  • Master's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration (preferred).">
  • A minimum of 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.">
