Global Transportation Manager

As a Global Transportation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing global transportation operations, including ocean freight, air freight, and land transport. Your primary objective will be to develop and implement effective transportation strategies that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee global transportation operations, including ocean freight, air freight, and land transport.
- Develop and implement effective transportation strategies to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
- Analyze shipping data to forecast demand and adjust transportation strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations governing transportation activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in global transportation management, preferably in the same industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to travel frequently to monitor transportation operations.
- Omani nationality preferred.
- English language proficiency required; Arabic is an added advantage.
- Oman experience required.
- Oman Driving License required.
- Proficiency in ERP/SAP and MS Office.
