About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to fill a key position within our organization.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in electrical maintenance work in the oil & gas or power generating industry, with a minimum of 5 years in an Electrical Maintenance Engineer position.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Maintain electrical systems and equipment in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, applying problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement maintenance strategies and improve overall plant efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including maintenance schedules, procedures, and records.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Possess relevant certifications, such as OSHA or Hazardous Materials Handling.
  • English Proficiency: Excellent English language skills (reading, writing, and speaking) to IELTS level 4.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in using computers, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel), and Windows operating system. Additionally, a good understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Hazardous Area Experience: Conversant with hazardous area electrical equipment and safety protocols.
  • Electric Motor Knowledge: Robust understanding of electric motor construction, including design principles and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Cable Design Expertise: Strong knowledge of cable design, materials used, and handling requirements for safe transportation and storage.

Work Environment and Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced industrial environment, potentially exposed to hazardous materials and electrical equipment.
  • Travel to various sites within the facility may be required.
