About This Role

As the Senior Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the housekeeping department. Your primary objective will be to ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are consistently clean, well-maintained, and meet the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, laundry services, and public area maintenance.
  • Lead and manage a team of room attendants, public area attendants, and supervisors to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and staff areas regularly to identify areas for improvement.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment, and manage departmental budgets and cost control.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and hotel policies.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Working knowledge of housekeeping equipment, chemicals, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Maestro) and Microsoft Office.
