Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development, technical testing, and regression testing of T24 Core Banking System.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Temenos T24 (or Globus) Core Banking System and excellent communication skills to effectively deal with users.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing, testing, and implementing T24 Core Banking System.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Providing support for Performance Testing.
  • Ensuring Audit and Regulatory Compliance.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Interacting with users, application teams, and vendors to handle business requirements and projects.

T24 System Architecture:

  • Reviewing technical documentation produced by the vendor and providing inputs to enhance solution performance.
  • Reviewing developments done by developers.

Development/Testing:

  • Analyzing the impact of new business requirements from a Core Banking perspective.
  • Liaising with business Stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify gaps if any.
  • Documenting requirements and obtaining user and vendor sign-off to form the basis for system build.
  • Ensuring delivery happens as per schedule.
  • Developing as per coding standards.
  • Completing Unit Testing with documents.
  • Providing all application components and release notes to the testing team.
  • Assisting testing team in performing Regression Testing as and when required before involving users for UAT.
  • Updating Business Requirement Specification (BSR).
  • Completing Regression Testing with complete Regression Testing document.
  • Handholding business team during UAT if required.
  • Providing test data to business team for completing UAT.

Requirements:

  • A university degree or equivalent with specialization in a relevant field.

Experience:

  • Essential: 12+ years hands-on experience in development/implementation/support in Temenos T24 (or Globus) Core Banking System in banks or financial institutions in a user-facing role.

Key Skills:

  • Understanding of the business domain is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of relevant modules in T24/Globus Core Banking application including parameters.
  • Working knowledge in AA module is mandatory.
  • Development experience in Core Banking modules and local customization.
  • Good communication skills in effectively dealing with users.

Technical Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in Temenos Web Services.
  • TAFJ Administration.
  • Knowledge on T24 Browser.
  • Knowledge on OFS and OFSML.
  • Working knowledge in COB and multithreading concepts.
  • Ability to analyze codes and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Knowledge of Multi-app server architecture.
  • Knowledge of Build Control.
  • COB support/monitoring.
  • Working knowledge of TAFJ.
  • Good knowledge in Legacy modules of T24 (LD, MG, AC, FT, MM).
  • Hands-on experience in product setup/customization in AA modules (Deposits & Lending).

Functional Requirements:

  • Accounting knowledge is mandatory.
  • Working knowledge on T24 modules.
  • Working knowledge on CRB/CRF reporting is an added advantage.
  • Experience in various versions of T24 - Preferably from R17.
  • Experience in T24 retail, corporate and accounting modules.

Preferences:

  • Experience in banking environment in the Middle East is an added advantage.
